About the Programme

Building Champions,
One Grant at a Time

Olympic Solidarity is the International Olympic Committee's development arm, providing financial and technical assistance to National Olympic Committees worldwide. For Rwanda, these grants are the engine that powers our journey from grassroots to podium.

Since 2018, Olympic Solidarity has invested over $2.4 million in Rwandan sport, funding everything from individual athlete scholarships to large-scale infrastructure projects. Every grant is aligned with Rwanda's National Sports Development Strategy and the IOC's global development priorities.
